Spain's capital city is famous for the scale and quality of its museums, and in particular its fantastic art museums; Museo del Prado, the Reina Sofia and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum which are all conveniently located close to one another in the circle of art or the art triangle, just a quick walk from the city centre.
